Sindhu Ravuri

Sindhu is a sophomore majoring in media studies from the University of California Berkeley. At her San Jose high school, she founded a long form feature magazine Wingspan and was its editor-in-chief. During her first year of college, she began her work as a contributor to BioCoder Magazine, for which she is writing in-depth scientific features. This summer, she was a research analyst on technical education for the Govt. of NCT of Delhi in India, and volunteered in the summer of 2015 with a grassroots network to empower trafficking victims. Her interests include female empowerment, volunteering and activism.
